UNIFORMS:
Uniform shirts are to be worn with black pants or skirts, black socks & shoes. Girls wearing skirts should wear black tights & black shoes. Black shoes are VERY important - please, no sneakers! Girls with pierced ears
may wear a small stud earring. NO other jewelry, hair ribbons, etc. - please!
Uniform shirts are to be tucked in. All buttons are to be buttoned. If undershirt is worn, it should not be seen.
Note: If the choir is performing in very cold weather, we will wear black long sleeved turtle neck shirts under
uniform shirts. We do NOT need them for our Christmas concert in Lightsey Chapel.
REHEARSALS
Rehearsals are every Tuesday evening - 6:15-7:30pm unless notified otherwise.
Students should arrive between 6:05 - 6:10pm.
Students should take care of bathroom needs before coming into choir room.
It is a good idea to bring a small bottle of plain water to sip during the rehearsal.
ABSENCES
If your child is sick or has a conflict, I would appreciate a call to let me know that he / she will not be in rehearsal that day. 843-224-9933 or jbreza1@comcast.net. jbreza1@gmail.com is an alternate email.
FRIDAY CLASSES
There will be Friday classes (4:30-5:15 pm) on a week by week basis for students who have had to miss rehearsals or for those who would like to have additional instruction in a very small setting. Please make
sure that I know your child is coming.

CHAMBER CHORUS
University Children's Chorus has expanded this year to include a chamber choir which allows older children (Grades 6 & above) with higher skill levels to sing more challenging music. Older students, who have sung with UCC for at least one year or have had similar experience, have been invited to join. Rehearsals are from 5:45 - 6:05 pm before the larger chorus rehearsal at 6:15 pm. Chamber Chorus singers are expected to provide leadership in the larger choir.
